Weather forecast information:
Daytime High 19-21 C ("room temperature")
Nighttime Low 5 C ("chilly")

Also, US Army recommends the intake of 5 L of water for a day of moderate work at 21 C or 6 L of water for a day of creeping and crawling with gear on in the sun. (and to drink 0.5 L each hour)

Historically as cold as 4 C overnight and 15 C during the day (but also as high as 32):

Correct me if I am wrong but our first op is to get eyes on and then plan and execute an attack on fob2 right at dawn on say morning? Well if thats the case, i have no problem marching in and getting some good eyes set up on fob2 and planning out the attack and other details on it. Plus i have no issues sleeping in the field

I agree, we can make use of this turn of events, even if some of us aren't happy about it.
Also it sounds like HOTSAUSE is in as well, so we have 1 more Tier 1 player.

That is the rub there will not be any attack of FOB2 at DAWN :o real time 0900hr -1000hr I'll bet anyone a steak dinner Sunday Night ;)

There for no real cloak of Dawns early light  to attack in.

So I think I'll see you boys about 0600hr :D Maybe I'll bring you guys a hot chocolate. Because there is no shooting until those DAM HELO's time wasters land!

Even though the sunrise and sunset times suggest that we have daylight from approximately 0645 to approximately 2100, with the mountain conditions we could have some additional murky-dusky conditions near the beginning and end of day.

True, but with a start time of 9 or 10 am, the sun will definitely be up.

A stake or a steak? Cause a sharpened piece of wood is cheap.

I think the plan will be to hit FOB2 from more than one side, we however will be in the field choosing our assault path, so I'm sure we will come up with the best option. Sun at our backs is good unless it's too fortified from that side. We also need to keep an eye out for a counter-assault, if I was ISAF I would be expecting a FOB2 attack, I would have forces ready to hit attackers from behind. They may not have thought of this, but it's better to be prepared for it.
