Getting there and back again

Post2014-03-13 / 06:49 UTC GMT +00:00

From approximately Vancouver City Hall to the site at Douglas, BC, the trip will take roughly 8 hours. Boosting that by 15 to 20% for breaks, refueling stops, and the like, the trip will take 9.5 to 10 hours.

What are our preferences here? I imagine we need a small convoy (5 or so) of (possibly rented) medium SUV's, unless we want to bring 8 or more regular vehicles. If we can get around 3 in each vehicle. Unless we want to rent something more ambitious.

The 8 to 10 hour travel time governs departure times. Tier 1 players would need to leave around midday Friday outbound, with Tier 2 players following at dinner time. On Sunday, players leaving Donald at around 1500U would arrive in "Vancouver" by approximately 0100 Monday.

Coordinate your departure times, rendezvous times, and hotel arrangements here.

Well, I'll just take my Sentra up which can easily fit my gear plus someone else and their gear. From Kamloops it'll take me about 6-7 hours (that's including a piss/smoke stop or two, and grabbing a bite)

Don't you mean a charter bus with a trailer?
